WHO WE ARE

The Peterborough Farmers Market was established in 2003
and continues to serve the community with fresh, local
produce, locally prepared ready to eat foods and handmade
crafts. We are a non-profit organization comprised of local
farmers and artisans. The market serves producers by
creating a direct market for their products and also serves the
community by providing fresh, healthy food and high quality
original crafts.

We are a “producer only” market. Our vendors grow, raise,
bake, prepare or make all of the products they offer for sale at
the Peterborough Farmers Market. Our farmers operate New
Hampshire farms, mostly in the Monadnock region. They strive
to provide the freshest, most flavorful and nutritious produce
possible, using sustainable methods of agriculture.

The Peterborough Farmers Market benefits the community in many ways:

Community Enrichment - By providing a friendly place where people can come together and where customers can meet the farmers and vendors who produce the food they eat.

Economic - By keeping our local food dollars within the community and by supporting local businesses.

Environment - By helping to preserve local farmland and by supporting sustainable food production.
